Motability from Holiways Ford
Holiways have over 20 years experience supplying cars to the disabled. We are Accredited First Class suppliers to the Motability Scheme. The are three specialists in our team :

They are able to advise and assist with all Motability questions concerning the various schemes.
The motability scheme allows you to convert your Mobility allowance (higher rate) into a new or used vehicle. In exchange for your allowance you can select a new Ford or used vehicle of any make.
There are four schemes available and our Motability Specialist will help you decide which is most suitable. You can either lease or buy the vehicle selected. Processing time for your application, depending on the scheme and vehicle chosen, can be 2/3 weeks.
Who can have a Motability Vehicle?
If you recieve the higher rate mobility component of the disability living allowance (HRMC-DLA) or the war pensioners mobility supplement (WPMS) then you could be eligible for the Motability Scheme.
You can exchange your monthly allowance for a new or used vehicle by completing an application form at the garage.
You will need a copy of your entitlement notice and national insurance number, a current full driving licence for your selected driver(s).
The Four Schemes Available
The Motability Contract Hire Scheme
This is by far the most popular of the schemes as it offers the customer trouble and expense free motoring. 95% of customers select this scheme.
New Car Hire Purchase
This scheme allows you to own the vehicle at the end of the hire purchase.
Outright Purchase
This scheme is available to anyone who is registered disabled.
Used Car Hire Purchase
This scheme can be used by anyone with more than two years remaining on their higher rate entitlement. The chosen vehicle should be under 5 years old and less than 60,000 miles recorded.
Choosing and Ordering your Vehicle
At the Holiways garages we have examples of the new Ford range on display and the Motability Specialists can help you with the various specifications applicable to each model.

Used vehicles for the Hire Purchase scheme can be selected from those vehicles displayed on our forecourt or chosen from the full range of vehicles on the Ford Direct Network. This network offers low mileage, high quality, R.A.C approved vehicles that have been returned through the Ford system. Examples of these cars are also available on our forecourt and in our used car section.
Any make of used vehicle can be selected.
The used vehicle purchase scheme is even easier than the Contract Hire option and allows you to own the vehicle at the end of the credit period.
There are no mileage limitation, conditions, constraints or use restrictions. It will be your car to do with and use as you like.
Services, Insurance and repairs will be your responsibility but will be at your discretion.
